The Claims
Plaintiff brought class action claims on behalf of MO consumers who purchased or leased VW vehicles with defective window regulators. His expert estimated that each consumer suffered more than 5 window regulator failures based on replacement part sales and other relevant data.
The Result
After years of contentious litigation, VW agreed to fully reimburse MO consumers for repairing/replacing their defective window regulators plus $75 for time they had to go to a dealer or service shop to diagnose, repair or replace a regulator.
